It was a clean sweep of the weekend's three biggest accolades, an achievement that's among the rarest and most coveted in sports car racing. Filippi set the tone Saturday morning, putting the No.33 Hyundai Elantra N TCR on pole with a commanding qualifying lap around the 2.238-mile, 11-turn circuit. From the front row, Filippi and co-driver Bryson Morris controlled the race from start to finish, converting the pole into a lights-to-flag victory before Filippi capped the day by setting the fastest lap of the race. The team now turns its attention to Mid Ohio Round 4, where Filippi and Bryan Herta Autosport will look to carry the momentum from Monterey.
